when u hook it up to the computer it wii show a simple on the bottom of the screen so when u pick the song drag it to the simple by clicking the song with your mouse then u should be done

Hi, my advice would be to make sure you are putting videos that are compatible with psp. In some cases if you try putting a video in a format not compatible with the system the data will appear as corrupted. So, how do you get all videos to the psp. Could be as simple as you put the UMD with wrong direction.
The UMD games are universal, which mean any game can be played on any psp. But the UMD movies are region specific, you can only play UMD movie with the region set according to your psp.
I think the lens might have died permanantely, or maybe just it's temporary. I've also had the same problem, and one time I turned it on, it started working again. Wait about a day and see if it still happens.
