You'll first want to make sure that BIOS would load. Turn the MB on with only the memory chips, video card, and CPU (with fans). You'll need to add/remove individual components to isolate the issue. Make sure that the cases's wires are connected to the correct pins on the MB.

I'm sorry but I would give up. You could buy a SATA to IDE converter, SATA disks, or use USB to IDE. You could buy PCI express cards for the display or IDE or buy a monitor with HDMI input. All these options are going to cost more than the motherboard. If you want to keep it bite the bullet and buy a monitor with HDMI (hp do some reasonable ones) and at some point then replace your discs with SATA
Not complete product...need to buy additional adapter for IDE to SATA power source.
IDE drive will have to have the power source hooked up as well as the adaptor hooked up.
Installing the adaptor only will not work. Your computer should have the 4 pin plug for the power to the IDE drive, other wise you will have to buy another adaptor.
Hi, could it be that you have an adapter that works one way only - IDE to SATA - it converts an IDE drive to SATA host port and therefore will not work in your motherboard.
What you probably should get is Sata Drive to IDE connector.
You might want to have a look @ http://www.satacables.com/html/sata-acessories.html./
Hope this be of some help to you. Good luck.
