You may have shorted the Voltage Regulator

Check the Power Supply Board. Remove all plugs coming from the board except the 110 supply and the main plug and try. If this works you shorted the sound board or the video board. then try connecting the other 2 one at a time and see when it does not power on

This may help you

My new tv 40" led haier tv wont turn in at all please help

I understand in a way but if it is brand new--take it back and either have it exchanged or sent in for repair. From the brand you are in the UK? Many companies will insist it goes for repair (a shell game) but most major stores selling sets have an unwritten rule: for first 30 days it can be returned and either exchanged or credit given to purchase another set--reason does not matter= you do not like the color of the cabinet take back and they will (not be happy) do something.

Seen a few here in USA where set when removed from box was destroyed in shipping--told customer to take it for repair---again a shell game by maker to have seller deal with this issue.

Don't take no for an answer would be my solution here.

Why does my MAG Innovision MA-32EF1ASP Flat Screen TV not function properly?

Have your hand ready when you turn the set on and instantly change the input to get back to the tuner in the set--some sets will shut down if hooked to a input with nothing connected.

Also if using a box connected to that input unplug box and set--wait and plug both back up to allow them to reboot.

Let me know what you find--not likely a reset will cure this but possible.

Hey bud how are you doing buddy? my tv is for the most part, fucked. lol. its a panasonic viera 50" according to miss giustini. umm so it flashes 10 times and does not turn on or off with the remote....

Hi there buddy
The 10 blinks of death (as it has been coined), referes to a fault code. The one you are getting would be a fault with the power supply. You will need to unplug everything from the TV, including the TV's power cable and wait 3 minutes. Then plug just the power cable back in and turn it on. If your TV works again, try plugging in your devices one at a time, until presumably it goes wrong again. Make a note of which device causes the malfunction, and then repeat the process over using a different input on the TV.
Hope this helps

Hey, Cant seem to find the AV button on my remote to connect the wii?

You didn't say what type of TV Remote you have, however, generally, make sure that you have connected the Wii according to package directions. Your Wii should show under games when you click on your input button and see your input menu on the screen.. Remember to turn it back to your TV input when you are finished playing.

Have fun with Wii. If you are still unable to connect, please get back to me. Thank you for using FixYa.

TV wont turn on

I have one of these TV's for my computer monitor. One of the micro capicitor chips have went bad. Plug in a USB cable into the service port (from a laptop or desktop computer) and press the power button. The TV will power on. Remove the USB cable from the service port. You will have to do this every time you want to turn it on.

You would have to get a new controller board inside the TV to fix it, and it's not really worth it. From some forums, they go bad just as quick. The issue hasn't been resolved
