Not if it is a TFT/LCD flat screen. They do not suffer from screen burn. Older CRT and plasma screens do suffer from screen burn from stationary images on screen for long periods of time.
So you should be ok if it is a TFT display

Why is my battery light staying on constantly

You mean, your laptops shows your battery is charging when charger is no connected? Is it amber or green?

How well does the battery work? Are you getting at least 90 minutes on just battery power? If not, maybe the battery is not working well. Remove the battery, turn on the computer, shut the computer off and restart the computer with the battery installed. Maybe if you reset the battery the computer will "see" the battery as new and after awhile of charging the LED should go from amber to green. While you have the battery out of the computer, check the battery contacts on both the battery and the computer. Make sure that they are clean and not corroded or damaged.

If your battery level is ok and your battery keeps it's charge, let it alone. You wouldn't like to send to repair tour laptop just for that.

BlackBerry Tour: How to hide or show programs

You may have several applications on your BlackBerry that you don't use very often. But you don't want to delete them, because one day you might decide you want them. The easy solution is to hide them, so you don't see them during regular use, but they're there if you ever need them.

To hide a program, highlight it with the trackball and click the BlackBerry button (the one that looks like a paw print). Then just select Hide from the menu, and that program will disappear from view.

If you later decide you want it back, click the BlackBerry button anywhere in the Home folder (or whichever folder that application was located in) and choose Show All from the menu. Hidden programs will show up, but they will look fainter than the other programs, as if they were faded or washed-out.

You can leave your BlackBerry set to Show All to see the hidden program, or you can "unhide" it so it's always visible. To do that, highlight the program and click the BlackBerry button, then select Hide again to remove the check mark. The program will be visible again.

Once you've made the program visible again, you can either uncheck Show All or leave it checked. Show All can not be applied to some folders and not others; if you select Show All in the Games folder, for example, hidden applications in all folders (including Home) will be visible.

The same procedure works for folders as well as applications, and it also will work for applications or subfolders that are located in another folder beside the Home folder.

You can 100% definitely remove Acer Tour. It is nothing more than a little movie file that shows you the features of your computer. It is not required at all!

For downloading any software it shows an error message it will harm your computer..

> it will harm your computer

Did it report this, or _MAY_ harm your computer?

It's up to you to decide whether to "trust" the source from where you're downloading. For example, if you accessed '' and tried to download Adobe Reader 9.3,
then you can "trust" that the downloaded file will _NOT_ harm your computer.

The problem of OSD Menus popping up automatically are usually caused due to a faulty switch in the Menu button which is getting switched on automatically.

This menu will not harm the computer but constant OSD menu will most probably lead to permanent damage to the pixels in the LCD screen plus it is a constant irritation to your eyes which are most precious.

This problem can be rectified by replacing the faulty menu switch. Hope this solves your problem Thanks.
