I could not find a 'black' or 'blank' screen problem and solution in the FAQ's.

My camera shows "bussy" always and also appear the message " cannot format,what can I do to takle this problem?

they are preset by camera in modes.ie sport.fast shutter,wide app.switch to apperture priority etc.

I have a Metz and a 50d and it does support E-ttl. The Metz is a bit less and it is more versatile than the Cannon and it does support slaves as well. I hope this helps you a bit. I got my Metz from Calumet Photographic. I am sure if you call them, they can tell you the answer.

I have an Apple imac and a Canon 50D DSLR camera. I Loaded all the Canon "MAC" software on th imac. When Camera is connected to imac EOS Utility just "hangs". It just does not respond at all. Is fine of Windows XP machine but imac, nothing.

The 50D doesn't take video, so that is one thing you won't find on the internet. In terms of editing, there is a multitude of help on the net. My favorite is a free video podcast from www.photoshopusertv.com

There are numerous YouTube channels too.

This Can only be done in the non-auto modes of the Camera (P to A-Dep). Press the Menu Button and navigate to the second list/Menu there will be a option called AEB press on this and set the amount. Also make sure the Camera is in Continuous shot mode (press the Drive mode button left of the SET button).

The AEB (Automatic Exposure Bracketing) settings will be lost the next time the Camera is turned off.

Send it back ASAP to get the problem corrected in warranty also see if Ritz or another camera store can figure it out before you send it off. Consider getting a warranty from Squaretrade.com within 90 days of your purchase I hope this helps. They also have accidental damage protection too for a reasonable rate.
