You can use the screen buttons. At the front panel of the monitor press button 1. Scroll using up - down buttons to get at the audio adjust line. Press button 2. Use the up - down buttons to increase - decrease the audio level. Hit twice button 1 to save and exit.
At some models you can control the audio level using directly the up - down buttons, I'm not sure for yours.

I cannot turn up the volume on my monitor

The Samsung B2030 LCD Monitor has no speakers, you cannot turn the volume up on it. Instead turn the volume up on the speakers, or on the computer itself.

Speakers not working

I haven't seen a monitor that needs drivers for the speakers.

Assuming it has a standard 3.5mm plug for sound input from the PC, have you plugged this in between monitor and PC?
The monitor will have a volume control, make sure it's not muted or turned down too far.
Also check the volume control panel on the PC to make sure it's not muted or turned down.

Have external gateway speakers

First make sure your sound cards are working properly. 1) Check the master volume of your PC. Go to start menu, control panel, sounds speech and audio devices, sounds and audio devices - i) In volume tab click the speaker volume and check whether all the left, right, etc.. volumes are in medium or high. ii) In audio tab click the volume tab of sound playback and make sure that the master volume is not in mute and all the volumes are either in medium level or at 100%. After making these changes try playing any music. Even if the problem persists go and get your sound card checked in an authorised service centre.

I'm frustrated. Love the picture on my Acer 22" monitor with speakers, but the sound is very poor. I have the volume for the computer turned up, but still can barely hear the sound. What can be done to...

Built-in monitor speakers are usually not the best quality. The monitor should have it's own volume control have you tried adjusting it?

You can use external speakers by plugging them into the same jack in the back (green) of the PC instead of the monitor.

Acer speaker?

There are two possible problems here. (1). The volume control on your monitor is turned down. With the button on the front of your monitor, find the menu/option button, and look for volume control (2) The volume coming out of your computer is low. Double click on the speaker at the bottom right of your screen, located on the start bar. Use the sliders to change the volume. This should fixya up.

Good Luck!

Relisys Sound

CJ,
1. Check make sure the audio cable are plugged in from the monitor to the PC output audio jack (light green).
2. Open your on screen display and go to Volume settings. See if it set on mute or set to 0.
3. Turn of your monitor & PC and unplugged all the cables from your monitor and PC wait for 10 seconds and then replugged it all the cables and audio cable back. Then turned on you PC...
4. If it still doesn't work.. open the back cover see if the speaker cable are plugged in.
5. If that doesn't work...then your monitor AD board built-in speakers are defective.
6. Why not just used a external speakers, it give better sound quality.
Have a nice weekend!

22" HDTV Gateway monitor volume control

I have the same monitor. There is a way to turn down the volume for the internal speakers. Go to Main menu on the monitor, Advance settings, then into Audio Feed Back. Then adjust the volume from there.

No speaker volume

Hey Mate, being honest weve sold alot of TFT monitors and most are hard to hear with all the volumes turned up, only thing you can try are. turn volume up to max on the monitors menu, also double click on the little speaker icon on the bottom right hand corner of the screen and a volume menu appears turn up WAV, & the main one on the left. if you are not getting any sound at all check you have the audio cable from the monitor plugged into the green connection on the back of the pc. Afraid thats the only options to get it louder or buy a set of speakers to get the sound louder. All the best John
