Question about Sony ICD-P320 Digital Voice Recorder
There is a set procedure to disconnect from the PC. You have to use the procedure where you disable the device first and then Windows tells you "It is safe to disconnect the device now". It is safe only after that to disconnect the device. If not done so then the device may go bad. Remove the battery from your recorder and after a minute reinsert and then power on the recorder. If it still does not work, then I am afraid that the recorder may have got busted while removing from the PC.

On the screen of the Sony unit it displayed error? Did it have any error code with it (usually a series of numbers, letters, or combination of both).
So you are unable to access any files on the unit, is that correct? And you used to be able to in the recent past?
