Question about Toastmaster TC17D3 Toaster

Open Question

Toaster (Toastmaster TC17D3663) will work fine for a while, then the conveyor will stop working. It has a new moter. The heat will stay on, only the conveyor stops. Shutting it off and waiting about 15 minutes makes it work again.

I have the same exact problem withe same exact model. Replaced the conveyor motor
also. Heat stays on too, but conveyor stops. Only 2 years old!! I am sick of commercial
conveyor toaster problems. Everybody says they can repair them but they don't know
s---- about them. My experience over 30 plus years in the restaurant business is that
ALL conyeyor toasters do the job well but they don't hold up very long and when you
get them repaired they usually don't last much longer.

SOURCE: Can an old Toastmaster toaster be refurbished?

there is no manual forthe repair of toasters . but the toaster you have is a common one on e bay , i dont see one right now but there have been a few over the years , and a well used one sells for around 10.00 , it may not work but its great for parts ( i collect and restore kitchen appliances) so i would take a look . you might find a cream puff for 20 .00 and put yours into retirement ..... other than e bay there not a lot of resources out there for parts . good luck ........Please if this answer helped , please rate this 3 or 4 stars . and keep me in the paid answer department . A 1 or 2 may knock me down into the unpaid ranks. Thanks Cactus Bob

I think this is a common problem with these kind of toaster ovens. Mine isn't a Toastmaster - mine is Cook's Essentials (from QVC), and my upper elements have also warped and split, although mine are curved downwards.
