you have a defrost problem, if SxS ref. most likely bad defrost heaters. They are behind interior back wall. Sounds like you have a GE.

Check to make sure freezer fan blowing & fan by compressor, No blockage in supply or return vents, Look in freezer to make sure NO frost is coming thought indicating defrost problem

too much ice bulid up will stop enough cold air being blown into the fridge.Try turning it off letting all ice melt then turn it back on again and set thermostat at a lower temp.There may be ice you can't see.

8 to 10 hours depending on how much warm items you placed inside to cool down. Make sure your fresh food section settings are set for medium. I'm not sure from what country you are from but a standard setting for both freezer and refrigerator should be set both mid way. For example (not that you need help here) 1 being the warm being the warmest and 10 being the coldest. Now some companies go like 1 being the coldest and 10 being the warmest. But 5 should be set up for first time start ups no matter where you are from. Thanks, Sea Breeze
