Another computer

wondering if you can take a look at this computer that i am going to buy it is sort of like the last one i was about to buy but this has a 2 DDR not 3 DDR

here is the website if you can take a look at it and tell me if this is a good gaming computer; not a hard core gaming computer but one that can at least play call of duty 4 or something like that.

Hi again,

For your posted gaming requirement, the Gateway M-1625 looks like more than sufficient. I am of the opinion that the advantages of DDR3 over DDR2 would not be significant with the games you have in mind. Additionally, Dual Core 2GHz AMD, 256MB memory on the ATI RADEON X1270 and 2Gb memory would of course make most current games happy. However, as stated in your other post, my concern is the the Vista OS which has been known to have so much memory issues which may affect the gaming performance of the machine. Perhaps a way to circumvent this is to upgrade to 4Gb memory. I would not suggest downgrading to XP due to unavailability of compatible drivers.
