Pink printing - Canon Pixma iP6000D InkJet Photo Printer

Anonymous, Have you tried to print the test print, is that Pink?
Have you tried too print the configuration sheet, is that Pink?
Have you tried to run purge sheets are they Pink?
If the answer is yes to all the above then has the printer been moves whilst still hot or warm, you could have mixed the colours.
If all the colours were mixed together then you would have a dark dirty Brown. Further investigation needed.

That sounds like a white balance issue to me. Do you use manual white balance setting or auto white balance?

prints everything in pink or magenta. Cannot get it to print in regular black.

Maintenance your cartridge with head clean or deep clean. If you don't get full colour, then change the colour cartridge.

Do you get other colours except pink?
If that is the case,reasons could be:
1. there is not enough RED or BLUE in the cartridge.
2. you haven't selected pink colour on the text or images you are trying to print.
If you are typing a document highlight the text you want in pink, and choose PINK color for the font.
Then print the document. The printer will use color closest to your choice, if it does not have the exact color.

have you clean the cartridge

pink is good..

clean the print heads and re align them..

do a test page..see if color is restored..

or open a Pink Tattoo shop???

the wastage part of ur pink toner is full a is dropping the powder on paper.get it cleaned to continue good printing.wish u success

I had 3 bad printing cartridges. I went to Staples bought a new 23 and everything is printing fine now.
