Question about Logitech ClearChat Stereo Headset Headset

I have a logitech clearchat comfortUSB. When useing I hear others But they hear broken-up static. Why is this happening? What can be done to fix it?

Your headset is shorted try contact a electronic technician and have it repair for you.

May I ask you to use a spare headphones connected to the same source audio plug to verify if the issue comes from the source or from the Logitech ClearChat headset.

Apparent broken wire issue


I somehow think that it may not be the headphones, but rather the hardware in the computer...but then again if they are under warranty definetely get them fixed(if they are broken?...)

Clearchat Stereo Headset's mic not working.


go to device manager and check for enumeration under the sound,video and game controllers. if the headset is listed it should work. if not or there is an unknown device. try on another pc. if the same happens call logitech.

The headsets are defective. I believe the manufacturers warranty is 2 years.

Go to your play control (double-click the speaker icon in the system tray) and mute the mic on the "Play" control to avoid feedback.

I can barely be heard.

try to barrow your friends headset and try it..if it works your headset is broken but if it didn't work your gadget is broken.
