Remote very slow - blinking red light

Very shortly after I got my tv the remote started working very slowly. I don't know what i did to it, if anything, but each time I press a button I have to wait for the red light to blink 6 times before I can press another button. Very frustrating. Any solutions?

Dish Network Remote Codes? Can't seem to get the few I have to work the dish remote

If your remote is a learning remote (has a little black glossy square on the top left side of the remote) you don't need a code, you just need the original remote. Place both remotes on a table, or other flat, sturdy surface, with the original TV remote facing the square on the DISH remote. Make sure both remotes have functioning batteries. On the DISH remote, hold down TV until the button blinks three times, then hold down record (for 5+ seconds) until the TV button lights up and stays on. Then, slowly, for each key you want to use, hit the key on the DISH remote (TV light blinks) then the corresponding key on the original remote (TV light blinks). For example: DISH Volume Up, TV remote Volume Up. When you are done learning all the keys you want to train, hit SAT. The TV light will blink three times, then the SAT light will light up for a moment. Try the DISH remote on your TV functions.

Bought a used panasonic flat panel hdtv. power will not come on. Did not come with a remote, bought a universal still can't get it on. Can you help

Are you getting the standby light , a red light next to the ON/OFF switch. To boot up just touch the channel UP or DOWN button. The stand by light will turn green and the TV should work. If it does not just count the number of times the red light blinks ( fast blink / slow blink ).Blinking standby light would mean you have to consult a professional service man.

My mother in law just passed away and I inherited back the Sylvania LD320SSX I bought her last year. What is the 5 digit remote code for a Comcast remote? Tried all I could find to no avail.

Comcast uses at least 11 different remote controls. I referred to the manuals listed on their remote control page for instructions on programming the three Comcast-branded remote units:

Comcast Universal Remote (Red OK/Select button)
Sylvania LCD TV codes: 20000, 20035, 20043, 20081, 20593, 21593, 21781
Procedure:
  1. Turn on the TV.
  2. Press the TV button once.
  3. Press and hold the Setup button until the TV button blinks twice, then release Setup.
  4. Enter a five-digit code from the list. If this is done correctly, the TV button will blink twice. If you enter an invalid code, the TV button will produce one long flash and the remote control will exit the program mode.
  5. Aim the remote control at the TV and press the Power button. If you have the correct code, the TV will turn off. If not, repeat steps 2-6 with a different code.
If none of the codes work, you can try the code search procedure:
  1. Turn on the TV.
  2. Press and hold TV. Press and hold Setup until the TV button light blinks twice, then release Setup.
  3. Press 9-9-1. The TV light will blink twice.
  4. Press and release the digit 1. The TV key will blink twice. Press the Power key.
  5. Aim the remote control at the TV. Press CH+ until the TV turns off. You may have to press numerous times until the remote control finds the right code in its library. Stop when the TV turns off.
  6. When the TV turns off, press Setup once to lock in the code set. The TV light will blink twice.
Comcast Universal Remote (Grey OK/Select button)
Sylvania LCD TV codes: 0000, 0035, 0043, 0081, 1781
Procedure:
  1. Turn on the TV.
  2. Press the TV button once.
  3. Press and hold the Setup button until the TV button blinks twice, then release Setup.
  4. Enter a four-digit code from the list.
  4. Aim the remote control at the TV. Slowly Press Power and TV alternately until the TV turns off. You may have to press numerous times until the remote control finds the right code in its library. Stop when the TV turns off.
  5. When the TV turns off, press Setup once to lock in the code set. The TV light will blink twice.

Hallo. I have a Prosonic TV type LC-27M65 that will not switch on. The red control light for remote is on. The yellow light indicator for current is off. Although TV is connected to net for power, the...

It is possible that your TV has encountered a fault in the power section possible a short in the drive power section. hence on powering the power sully working OK is switching the secondary power to the main board but this short is taking in more current than specified. the feedback of this is read by the SM unit to shut off the power to protect the supply. Hence you will have to probe into the sections to find this short, perhaps a HT drive transistor or the HT transformer or capacitors. If will be easier to check the continuity with a meter. Please attemptt only if familiar otherwise take help. Disconnection of the shorting section will switch the power, replace teh component in question. Hope you try. Good day

Hi i have lost instruction manual for my total remote urc 11-4110 b02 Universal Remote could you tell me how to code it to tv manually please

@font-face { font-family: "Cambria"; }p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal { margin: 0cm 0cm 10pt; font-size: 12pt; font-family: "Times New Roman"; }div.Section1 { page: Section1; } SET UP
TV
The Search Method
If your device does not respond to the TOTAL CONTROL after you have tried all the codes listed for your brand, try searching for your code. The Search Method allows you to find the code for your device by scanning through all the codes contained in the memory of the TOTAL CONTROL.
To search for your TV code:
1 Switch your television on (not on standby) and aim your TOTAL CONTROL at your TV.
2 Press the TV key on your TOTAL CONTROL.
3 Press and hold down SET UP until the red light blinks twice. (The red light will blink once and then twice)
4 Press 9 9 1. The red light will blink twice .
5 Now slowly, alternate between POWER and TV, over and over, until your television turns off. You may have to press these keys many times (up to 150!), so please be patient.Remember to keep pointing the TOTAL CONTROL at your television when you press these keys.
6 As soon as your television turns off, press SET UP.
The TOTAL CONTROL remote should now be ready to operate your device. Turn your device back on and try all the remote’s functions to ensure they are working
properly. If some of the TOTAL CONTROL’s commands are not operating correctly, try the search method again. You may be using the wrong code.
Once you have Set-Up your TOTAL CONTROL, you can blink back your SET-UP CODE for future reference.
Example: To blink out your Television code:
1 Press TV once.
2 Press and hold SET UP until the red light blinks twice (The red light will blink once and then twice).
3 Press 9 9 0. The red light will blink twice.
4 For the first digit of your four-digit code, press 1 and count all the red blinks. If there are no blinks, the digit is "0".
5 For the second digit, press 2 and count all the red blinks. If there are no blinks, the digit is "0".
6 For the third digit, press 3 and count all the red blinks.
If there are no blinks, the digit is "0".
7 For the fourth digit, press 4 and count all the red blinks. If there are no blinks, the digit is "0". Now you have your four-digit code.Make sure you write your Television code for easy future reference.

Comcast dta remote codes for trutech klv3112

I have a Trutech 10 inch under cabinet DVD/TV and needed the codes for the new Digital Adapter that Comcast is forcing everyone to move to. The short answer is that there isn't a single code that will work for what we all need. After much research I have an answer. It's largely unsatisfactory, but its somewhat of a work around. If you use code 10451 you can get the channel up, channel down, the number pad and the "last" button to work. To get volume functional, change the volume lock on the comcast box. To do this:
1. With the TV on, manually set the volume to a medium high setting
2. With the comcast remote, press and hold SET until the red light blinks twice.
3. Enter 9-9-3 (red light blinks twice)
4. Press and release the digit 1 (red light will blink 4 times)

Now, in addition to channel control, you have volume control. I can't do anything about the power button or other functions. However, this at least makes the remote functional.

Good luck to all!

Hi there. I have just bought the same television today and I have just found that the remote code 0156 does actually work. The mistake i initially made was not pressing the TV BUTTON after I had held in the SELECT and RED Buttons together, making the light blink twice. So here's what I did:

1. Press the TV button
2. Hold in the Select and Red Button until the red light flashes twice
3. Press the TV button again
4. Enter the code 0156 (The Red light will blink Twice again)
5. Test the controller - Try to change the volume
6. If it works, press SELECT one last time to save the settings.

Hope this helps.

Unlock my remote

First of all have you checked the remote with fresh batteries in.

Check there`s no obstruction between remote and tv.

I can get the codes for a universal remote 01 or 02
try those on your sharp remote.

Another way

If you don`t have codes,I can tell you how to find the code on your remote without pressing any numbers!
Hold the code search button until the red light on the remote remains on. Then, press "TV". After this, point the
remote at your television and press the power or on/off button over and over again SLOWLY (one time every second) until
the TV turns off. DO NOT PRESS THE POWER BUTTON AFTER THE TV TURNS OFF!!! Once it does, press the "enter" button on the remote. Then, the remote should work on the TV.

Hope i`v helped!

The code is 0081 and this is how you do it.

'4 digit' or 'Brand Set' method
1. Turn on your TV.

2. Press TV on your Sky remote control.

3. Hold down select and the red button together for about two seconds, until the red light on the Sky remote control blinks twice.

4. Press TV on your Sky remote control again.

5. Key in the Brand Set code for your brand of TV. The light on the Sky remote control blinks twice.
If the light blinks once only, re check the code for your TV and start again at step 1.

6. Press the on/off button (power-top right button on your Sky remote control).

If your TV switched off, press select . The light on the Sky remote control blinks twice.

If your TV did not switch off, press TV , then press the on/off button. Repeat this (press TV , then on/off) until your TV turns off, then press select.

If the light on your Sky remote control blinks three times, your Sky digibox has checked all the possible settings for the code you used. Check that you have the right 4 digit code and start again at step 1.

7. Press TV guide .
If you see the TV Guide screen, the remote control setup process is complete.

If you did not see the TV Guide, you must now set the TV Guide function as follows:

8. Press TV on your Sky remote control.

9. Hold down select and the green button together for about two seconds, until the red light on the Sky remote control blinks twice. The remote control setup process is complete.
