Hi icant send mms messages out on my nokia n86 its on the 3 network, i tried to get em sent from the online website and the customer call centre but the phone seams to fail to save settings, is their a way to check all my current settings are correct, i have also done a system restore on it from the tech support over the phone.

Hi, you need to activate MMS feature in your Cellphone. Please contact the Customer Care of your Cellular Network to activate MMS. Then you can view the MMS sent to you on your mobile. Charges applies depending on the Cellular Network.

Hi, sending and receiving of text messages, MMS and internet service has to do with the network setting provided by your network provider. Your network provider has to send you different settings for your internet connection and your MMS connection and since you cannot receive MMS, you have to contact your service provider through their help line or toll free line to make a request for the MMS settings and it will be sent to you before you can start receiving MMS..

first of all you have to make sure that your phone is mms capable.
if you confirm this and it still doesn't go, you should try calling your customer care or network provider centres and ask them how you can apply for the mms(multimedia message service) settings. after this is sent to you, you will have to save it and make it your default settings, then you should be free to send mms.hope this was helpful?

here is a general procedure to understand how MMS works. In this procedure, a photo is being sent to another compatible phone.

• Step one: Take a photo from your built-in camera phone or download via the Internet.
• Step two: Personalize the text, graphics, audio or video clips.
• Step three: Add recipients' number and send.

The recipient on the other side will receive a message alert. Once he opens the message, a picture message will appear on the screen. If there is any text, it will appear below the image. Check your message centre number .It may be changed please call your service provider and ask them your message centre number.

First you will need to get both the MMS settings and Internet settings sent to your mobile phone from customer services.

Once you have these you may need to activate the profiles. To do this do the following:

Menu > Messaging > Settings > Multimedia Message > Multi Msg Centre > Now select Talk Mobile - Ensure this is ticked.

Delete messages in sent items.It should work now..... If not make sure that message centr no. is the right one. Contact customer care if u dont know message centr no. If problem persists, use some other handset and try sending message.If message sending fails in other handsets too then priblem is related to SIM or network.Complain to the customer care.Wait for their response.If the network is OK,then the last option is to apply for replacement with a  new SIM .!!!

Download MMS and GPRS settings from Smart:
To download SMART MMS phone settings:
Key in SET MMS and send to 211.
To download SMART GPRS phone settings:
Key in SET GPRS and send to 211.
Example: If you have a Nokia 6230, that’s “SET MMS N6230”
To activate SMART GPRS:
Key in “GPRS ON” and send to “333′
To activate SMART MMS:
Key in “MMS ON” and send to “333′

Ask Vodaphone ES if "intercariier MMS" works. Some cariers today still do not allow MMS messaging to leave their network (in order to message someone on another network).

If Vodaphone claims that sending an MMS to an Orange customer is possible, go to the nearest store and ask for a demo... I have seen reps say "it works", when it does not.... when that is the case, the carrier (Vodaphone in this case) does not like to advertise their limitation.
