Question about KitchenAid KHWS01PWH Global Horizontal Axis Washer
I have a KitchenAid washing machine (Model number KAWE577B) that stops mid-way through the wash cycle and I have to "bang" on the lid to get it to resume. Once it does, it finishes without a problem and washes fine. It just seems that something is loose or stuck that keeps it from clicking through to the next step in the cycle. Thanks!!
Sounds like you need to replace your lid switch asssy part number 285671, unit not recognizing the door closed so for safetyreasons stops after first rinse and wont drain/spin. your tripping the switch by bangin on it
