What type of extension lead can i attach to the lead of the charging unit as i live about 35 foot from where i can park the car for charging

A 12 gauge extension lead would do the job. However, typically they only are available 25 and 50 foot lengths. It would be okay to coil up the extra length if you go the fifty foot route. Alternately you can cut off the length you don't need and attach a female receptical. If you opt to shorten the cord, take care to not strip the outer sheath to far back. The cord strain relief is the clamp on the cord side of the receptacle and is intended to counter the forces produced while using the extension lead. The clamp must be able to close and clamp the sheath once the plug is assembled.

How to adjust the needle when using the zig zag mode

All machines are similar.
Push the zigzag control to begin: To control the zigzag appearance the width and length have to be changed.
Width: This is to control the width just as it says; wide.
Length: This is the length of a straight stitch. As it is made longer the length of the zigzag from one tip to the next tip will lengthen. If it is made shorter the tip to tip measurement will shorten.
This is easy to learn. Give it a try on old material.

Two forces of 5 N and 12 N respectively act on the same point. show how you would determine the magnitude of the resultant by using the tail-to-head and tail-to-tail methods and pythagoras theromen (13 N)

Draw a vector of length five. From the head of it, draw another vector of length twelve. Now measure the distance from the tail of the first vector to the head of the second.

If the two vectors are at right angles then Pythagoras' theorem applies. Square five to get 25. Square twelve to get 144. Add them to get 169. Take the square root to get 13.

Why does the bow length need to match my draw length?

The bow length needs to match your draw length because the bow limb is designed to be used at a particular draw length range. For instance if you use a bow with limbs too long for your draw length, you won't be able to flex the limbs enough to make them efficient.

How do I shorten the stitch to make a rolled hem? Please help.

For the rolled hem: the needle is in the O2 or right position, the length is 1.5 in the rolled section- you will see this, if you look on the side of the bottom knob- you can decrease this to 1, but you have to stay within the rolled section, the width is 3.5. the stitch selector is on D, the upper looper selector is UP, the blade is engaged and the subsidiary looper is to the right. You can use a decorative thread in the upper looper- Madeira Decor, Superior Threads made for bobbin work, or YLI Pearl Crown Rayon- or use a wooly nylon for excellent coverage and not need to decrease stitch length. I usually don't need to change the length with these threads.

Pump has started making a loud "slurping" sound when it shuts off, similar to sucking on a straw at the bottom of a glass. Is there a way to adjust this noisy pump?

I'd double check your check valve, located in the discharge pipe, is still working. If the flapper inside has failed the water in that pipe runs back down into the pit and you'll hear 'bubbling' and the air is forced out by the water coming back down...another symptom may be your pump running more often than it used to. If the check valve is of, it sounds like the pump is drawing down closer to the bottom of the pit than before and that is causing you noise...can you adjust the length of the cord that is free to the float? If so, shorten it a little at a time until the noise goes away.
