Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
Well, since the last update (I'm guessing it is version 1.1), I can't play Halo 3 online for the xbox 360.
I enter matchmaking, search for a game, and I enter it. About 10 seconds later, I'm sent back to the matchmaking. It happened about twenty times, and I've lost quite a bit of Exp because of that ;/
I've tried clearing the cache, searching google, this forum, but nothing. Note that I can't even enter as a party, or even a custom game, so the problem's not the matchmaking. I also tried resetting my console to factory default, and it didn't work. It isn't my CD as well, as I tried playing with it on my friends house, and it worked.
I think I've tried quite everything, and I'm hoping Bungie can fix this in any ways. Note that before the update I NEVER experienced any problems with halo. No RRoD, nothing.
I would try deleting everything off of your memory units. (Including your gamer tag) Go and restore you factory defaults on your console again without any hardrives or memory cards. Reset your console and re insert the memory unit. Go to the dashboard and recover your gamertag. Re download any mappacks you may have purchased. (Dont worry, it will be free.) Then try it all again.

Have you got the internet connected to your Xbox 360? If so, i have two relevent answers:
1: Don't press update, i've heard that the update is not a necessity to playing the game.
2: Contact the store that you rented it from or; Contact microsoft and tell them the problem.
If you haven't got the internet connected to your xbox 360 then it WON'T work.
