Our Nautilus T514 treadmill stops running and flashes an E7 error message. There is no error message troubleshooting code in the instruction manual, so we're looking for help to solve this problem.

After unplugging the treadmill from the wall outlet, it worked for about 30 minutes, then stopped again and displayed the same E 7 error message. I unplugged it from the wall, checked the connections and the cords, and the underside before I posted my message to you. We've had the machine for ten days. It worked perfectly until yesterday, but yesterday I was able to clear the error message and use the machine. Today, I've been unsuccessful. What is an E 7 error code for this machine? How are users supposed to know what problems to address when error codes are displayed without a corresponding chart or list to interpret or decode them?

the treadmill gives the error ground clear, press clear and is no longer height adjustable. Also a low humming noise and vibrations can be felt.

Hi

Try clearing the error by unplugging the treadmil. if it doesn't clear then try and press stop button for 10 seconds. Insure cable is connected securely to Console. All wires in cable should be intact. If any are cut or crimped, replace cable. If error doesn't go then lubricate the treadmill as given in this manual---

Try to enter the service mode, press Stop Belt, Faster, and Slower simultaneously. P000 appears in the Select display, indicating that no key is pressed. To exit the service mode, press and release the same three keys simultaneously or press Power twice to power up into normal mode. Check the speed sensor to make sure it is within 3-4 inch from the front roller (magnet). Then check the sensor wire harness to make sure it is fully seated on the lower control board. Hope this helps... If it does please do not forget to accept the solution or post back for assistance.

Nautilus tc5000 treadclimber has e5 error. Will run for 5 seconds, then stops. Thanks

The E5 error code indicates the electronics on your treadmill require calibration. Recalibrate the machine per the instructions in your manual to clear this error code.

I have an Insight DK614 Tredmill that will not run. It displays an error message "E6" and the running deck will not lower. The motor is still running albeit at a much lower rate. No movement...

E6 or E7 An E6 or E7 error code is an incline error code. The E7 code means the potentiometer value the console is reading from the lift motor is out of range. This can happen when there is a bad wire harness connection or a damaged wire harness. It could also just mean the incline motor needs to be adjusted back into range. If all wire connections look ok, the incline motor will need to be adjusted.
  1. Turn the power OFF, wait for 5-seconds and turn back ON.
  2. Get into test mode and enter through the I/O testing step. This screen will display the potentiometer value of the incline motor. Different models will have different values. Check to see if the running deck is raised to high incline level or if it is at the low level. If the running deck is at a low position press the incline up button. This will cause the incline motor to raise the running deck up. When the deck gets to a mid-level position, press the incline up button a second time to stop the deck. If the running deck is in a high incline position, use the incline down button to adjust the deck to a mid-level position.
  3. Once the unit is in the mid-level position, power the treadmill off for 5-seconds and then power it back ON.
  4. Start the treadmill.
  5. Once the treadmill starts the running deck will move to the level 0 position. If this does not resolve the issue or it will not adjust please contact customer service.
Also, note that not all models will have the ability to adjust the incline motor. If the adjustment procedure is not found in the Owner's Manual then contact customer service. Treadmill Error Codes Troubleshooting

My tv pixelates when i am running on the treadmill..i have a t514

Their is either a cold soldier joints or loose connections on the upper console you'll have to physically inspect all connections leading from the lower board to upper console. Usually the display screen are connected with a mylar connector or hard wired to upper console if your not a tech and don't have any electronics background this can get very involved. My suggestions is call Nautilus and if still under warranty replace unit, if not under warranty get pricing or take it to a computer shop a skilled tech should be able to diagnose a locate the problem.

Treadmill belt adjustment

There are two bolts on the back of the treadmill. Turn the right side clockwise to make the belt go left, turn the left side clockwise to make it go right. Never tighten more than 1/2 turn at a time, and do this while machine runs at 2-3 mph. Belt should be just tight enough to not slip. If your belt is really tight and it still slips you have other problems.
