Magicolor 2400W print fades on right side of page

Yo, has anyone experienced this problem and know a fix for it. This occurred occasionly from the first page I printed. It happens more frequently if the page is full of text. Each line stats out looking good and then starts fading about 3/4 across the page. Toner is full and all the color works fine. Just the black is fading. Any ideas or suggestions??

I've taken the black cartridge from the drum and given it a light shaking thinking that maybe the toner was concentrated on one end of the cartridge but nada.. I've printed through one high capacity black cartridge and am 1/2 way through the first color cartridges. I refilled the black cartridge and installed a new chip. This problem occurred from the get go so the refilling isn't the source. I'm aggravated at this thing. :)

My color and black work both on the left side of the page but the whole right 2 inches is faded.

Abowman, mine is also the right 2 inches or so but pretty much only occurs when I print extensive text on a page. If the printing is spaced out or is concentrated on the left 3/4 of the page there's not a problem... So far, I've gotten no response from Konica/Minolta. It's a shame, other than this problem, the printer is great. I'm seriously considering pitching it and buying another brand.

My 2400w printer was fading on the left in black AND in color. The solution with the wiping of the lens with a soft cloth solved it immediately. --Thanks-- --A-- --LOT-- !!

Have you tried cleaning the leans at the bottom of the printer? Open the cover, pull out the drum. Under it is a long, narrow piece of glass. If it gets dusty or toner accumulates on it, it will cause streaks in the printing. If this is dirty, take a clean, soft cloth and very gently wipe it off.

Printer won't print until I restart my computer.

After you have this problem again. Go to Control panel and look for administrative tools. Click on services and scroll down until you see the print spooler service.. Right click on this and select restart. Let me know if the printer then functions after this.

Magicolor 2400W - Printing Problem

check the green levers at the top of the fuser unit that have envelope icons on them.  They reduce pressure on the fuser assembly for thick stock.  It is possible that one side is up the other down, causing uneven pressure across a page.

Konica minolta magicolor 2400w printing proplem

pleas check transfer belt, and drum unit, probably these lines are caused by drum unit and you have to change it. also you can clean laser glass, what is under the drum unit. if both look fine you can also look at the fusing rollers.
