I have a Haier HWD1600 washer dryer combo that I am getting an error 2 on. It will not drain the water out and I have not been able to clear it for the past two months

Its a common error,
Error message:Drain error, water can be not drained fully within the required drain time
Reason 1. Pump filter is blocked.
Solution 1. Please open and clean the pump filter. (Filter access door is on the bottom right, at floor level of the washing machine)
Step 1.Push a flat blade screwdriver into the slot on the filter cover and pull it open ,do not use excessive force.(Fig 1).
Step 2.Remove the rubber hose from its clip and stand a suitable container under it, remove the bung to drain the water (Fig 2-3)
Step 3.Replace the bung and fit it back into its clip (Fig 4-5).
Step 4. Unscrew the filter and rinse it under running water, replace it and close the flap(Fig 6-7-8).
1. The filter must be in place during operation, ensure it is in place after cleaning to avoid leakage.
2.Place a container under the drain pump filter, to collect any excess water that may come out of the drain pump when the filter is removed.

Reason 2. Drain hose end is higher than 100cm above the floor level.
Solution 2. Please adjust the height of drain hose to 80-100cm above the floor.

Reason 3. Drain hose is blocked or twisted.
Solution 3. Please check and clean the drain hose for blockage.

Reason 4. Drain hose is too long, or water is back filling from waste water pipes.
Solution 4. Remove any extension to the original drain hose.
Ensure the highest part of the drain hose is nearest the washing machine.Check the waste water pipes in the building are clear of any obstructions and flow freely.

I have a Kenmore 500 top load washer that doesn't hold water. As it is filling for the wash cycle all the water runs down the drain

The drain hose outlet must be higher than the 'full' water level in the tub or the water will syphon out until the tub water equals the hose height. If the drain system you are using for the washer is floor level, then you need to install a vertical pipe (1-1/2" minimum) to place the hose end into at the top and it should eject the water through a 90 degree elbow onto the floor at the bottom. There are more elegant solutions, but this will stop the tub from self-draining. Good luck!

There is water accumulating at the bottom of my refrigerator. How do i clear the drain or remove an obstruction?

You can try a flexible plastic tube strong enough to
go through the drain of your refrigerator. Better still
if you can buy, a 1/4 inch diameter flexible spiral
rod for manual declogging equipment. You can buy
it at the hardware stores.

Haier washer the water goes in and goes straight out through the drum into waste pipe

There is an exit hose behind the machine. This hose should be approx 3 feet above ground level, you may find a water mark behind the machine; then it goes down into the sink or standpipe in the wall. This hose holds the water, your pump pumps it over the height as & when required; the hose is never let loose at floor level.

Water keeps running through washing machine(simpson 36s605). have checked pump not blocked

At what height is your exit hose. It should be approximately 3 feet up from the ground and then into the drain. This is rule one for all washers, it cannot be at floor level - your water will just flow out.

Repair man says washer hose must be off ground for proper draining

yes drain should be at least 36 inches from floorif hose outlet falls below water height in tub water will siphon out faster than it runs in try installing 1 and quarter diameter pipe into floor drain and dropping end of hose into it

Machine not holding water

Your exit pipe behind the machine could be level into the drain, that is at floor level. The machine has a water level where the pipe must bend over (about 3 feet from ground level); it then passes into the drain in your wall, also raised. Your water exit pump pumps the waste water of the machine OVER this height. Check this out.

My washer just keeps trying to fill

check the height of the drain hose. if you aren't seeing a leak on the floor the drain hose might be below the height of the tub. the water always seeks the lowest level and if the hose is too low the water wwill run right out
