Question about LG LBC22520S (224 cu ft) Bottom Freezer French Door Refrigerator
This refrigerator has coils in the back on the left side as you face the front. Move the refrigerator out and watch the water line so you don't damage it.Unplug. The unit has a cover held on by 6 screws remove and slide out of way after you vacuum both sides. Vacuum or blow off coil. On the bottom of the unit in the back are slots just off the floor. vacuum them the best you can. I took a block of wood and a pry bar and lifted the back of the unit up right on the corner so you don't bend the thin metal in the middle.Yes I know someone dumb enough to try to raise a 7,500 pound trailer by putting a jack in the middle of the bumper. Now it looks sad all the time. high enough to vacuum under and get the incoming air vents clean

Condenser coils- The condenser coils dissipate heat. If dust and debris accumulate around the coils, your refrigerator may not be able to cool properly, it may run continuously or it may stop completely as a result of an overheated compressor. You should clean rear-mounted coils once a year. Unplug the refrigerator before cleaning. Refrigerators are heavy, never tip one forward or backward. Never attempt to move a refrigerator without an assistant. Vacuum or brush the coils. If coils have a filmy build-up, use warm soapy water to clean them. Take care not to spill or drip water onto the components of the refrigerator. You should clean floor level coils at least twice a year. Unplug the refrigerator before cleaning. Vacuum or brush the coils. Remove the grill from the front of the refrigerator and use a vacuum with a wand attachment to remove any dust and debris. The grill should snap off and on. Pull firmly toward you and possibly upward to remove the grill. If it does not come off with a modest effort, check for screws or retaining clips that may hold it in place.
