Need Time Warner remote codes for a TLC TV

There are no Time warner codes for TCL tv's. You will have to perform a "code search"

1 Turn on the device that you wish to program. If you are programming a DVD or VCR player, then insert a media disc such as a DVD or VHS tape.

2 Press the device key on the remote once. This remote is capable of programming five devices, and each has its own respective button at the top of the remote. For example, if you wish to program a TV, press the "TV" device key at the top of the remote. The device key will blink once.

3 Press and hold the "Setup" button on the remote. The selected device key will blink twice, indicating it is ready to be programmed.

4 Enter "991" on the remote. The device key will blink twice again.

5 Aim the remote at the device you wish to program and press the "Power" button.

6 Press the "Channel +" button on the remote. Continue to press that button until the device turns off. Once that happens, press the "Setup" button to lock in the code.

7 Press the "Power" to turn the device back on and it will be ready to use

Unable to program remote

Have you tried the "KMC" code (should be 219). KMC is Konica Minolta who used to make Konka TVs. Here is the link to the programming instructions and all the codes if you need; http://optimum.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/optimum.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=1420 If that code doesn't work, then apparently philips codes may work for your model (164, 005, 038, 093, 127, 070, 003, 004, 059, 236, 238, 243, 247, 199) (sorry you have to work through them one at a time). Hope the KMC one works :)

I need a code 4 digit for the cable co. to hook up our new tv to their remote

Dynex TVs are re-branded from other manufactures for Best Buy. You may not find a "Dynex" code because it depends on who made that particular TV. Also, depending on your provider (AT&T, Warner, Comcast, Charter, etc.) there are many different remotes out there. The remotes are in turn made by different manufactures. Try one of these solutions:
1) Try the codes for Westinghouse, Zenith, and LG.
2) Do a code search. Your manual will explain this. If you don't have the manual, do a search with the remote's model number.
3) Call your providers tech support. They may have a list of codes that are in their database. They can also walk you through programming if you are unsure.

Cable box remote doesn't work when tv is turned on.

I am having this same problem with our Mitsubishi LCD Flat Panel TV, Model LT-46246 ans our Scientific Atlanta remote cable box, same model as yours. We cannot use the remote at all to change the channel. I called Mitsubishi and they said they have never heard of this. I find this incredibly hard to believe. Time Warner, our cable provider says that it is not the box because it works when not hooked up to the TV. What a pain. I would love to hear if anyone else is having this problem or has a fix for it.
