Replace Bulb in Fridge Maytag Model MTB1954ARA, how do I remove the bulb guard?

hello
first unplug the fridge freezer from the power outlet.
Look for the bulb compartment or socket where the light bulb is located
then remove the bulb and then install a new one .Ensure replacement bulb is of the correct type and wattage
then test the bulb

The cooktop light bulb(s) is(are) located on the underside of the microwave oven, and is(are) replaceable. Remove bulb cover screw, and open the bulb cover. Replace bulb, close bulb cover, and secure with screw. Cavity light: The cavity light bulb is located behind the vent grille at the top front of the microwave oven, under the bulb cover, and is replaceable. Remove 2 screws on the vent grille, tilt the grille forward, and lift it out. Open bulb cover and replace bulb. Close bulb cover, replace vent grille, and secure with screws.

Cleaning, Care and Maintenance
• Always switch off the power and disconnect the appliance from the power supply before cleaning.
• Clean the collection tray regularly with warm soapy water.
• DO NOT immerse the appliance in water. Wipe the safety guard and external casing with a damp cloth.
• Change the bulbs every 9 months.

Changing the Bulb
1. Remove the catch tray.
2. Lay the appliance face down.
3. Unscrew the two screws holding the safety guard
at the rear of the Fly Killer [Fig. 1].
4. Lift up the guard rail [Fig. 2].
5. Holding the ends of the bulb, twist it 'forwards' in
its socket until it clicks [Fig. 3].
6. Slide the bulb up out of its sockets [Fig. 4].
7. Replace with a new bulb.
8. Twist the new bulb 'backwards' to lock it back in
place.
9. Replace the guard rail and the two screws.

generally there is a Philips screw at the edge of the plastic cover,or sometimes you can squeeze or press in the sides of the cover.Check the make & model and go in line to the company,They usually will have a manual where you can find out the answer.Best of luck.

What you will need to do is to get under the front bumper cover of the car. I found it easy to do 1 side at a time so I jacked up one side of the car and that gave me easy access to the slash guard attached to the underside of the bumper cover and underneath of the car. You will need a small flat head screwdriver to pry the inner part of the push plug up (These are what hold that splash guard on) you will need to remove enough of those on 1 side so you can pull the splash guard down far enough to see the back side of the fog light assembly. Reach your hand up there and disconnect the wire from the bulb, turn the bulb a 1/4 turn and remove it. Take your new bulb (I used a LED bulb as I should never have to replace it again), but if you replace it with a halogen be careful to not touch the bulb, I found it easy to put disposable gloves on. Put the bulb in turn 1/4 turn til it locks then plug it in. Replace the push pins that you removed and repeat on the other side. Its not overly difficult just a bit time consuming, but take your time and take care to not damage those push pins. When putting the splash guard back up make sure you are lined up with the holes so that the push plug locks onto the body part of the car, otherwise the cover will not stay up. Hope this helps

HI change the main board its about $150-200. Will fix all your problems except the lightbulb would be a lightsocket problem or the bulb you put in is bad, or door switch.

Your bulb has burnt out. Go to appliancepartspros.com put in your model number, in schematics on left side of page select #5 tumbler, bulb is part #7 cost $5.60. easy to replace, you just have to remove lens cover and replace bulb.
