Question about Dryers
This could be a couple different things you might want to check.
One is the door switch. You can test it with an ohmmeter. If the door switch is bad, you won't be able to turn the dryer on. Next is the start button. Not as likely to fail but it can happen, you can test as well with an ohmmeter in the Rx1 position with the wires disconnected.
Lastly would be the control panel itself. You can use a voltmeter to test if power is coming out of the panel and also test power going to the motor. If there is power to the motor and motor is not spinning, it may be bad. If not power to the motor, then check control board, door switch, and start switch.
Sometimes but not always, a person can reset the machine by leaving it unplugged for several hours. While it is unplugged you can press and hold the start button for 10 seconds to drain all remaining power out of the machine's memory.
