Tv wont power up - RCA P52926 52" Rear Projection Television

I have a p52750wk. It always had a beautiful picture, never had a problem.

One night while turning it off, it sounded louder than normal. The next day it would not come on - it would click three time and shut down. We left it alone for a couple of days and wouldn't you know it came on and worked for about two months. Of course, it happened again and that was it. We were told that the blue tube (some people call it the blue gun) would have to be replaced. Could this be it? I just feel that we would have seen some symptoms that it was going bad. Could it be something else?



If it is the tube, were can I get a replacement without going broke for a set that is older.
