Pictures are blurry and colors not bright Philips 60PP9202 HDTV

Something easy to try: with set unplugged remove back cover and locate the three large lens (black plastic housings) and clean the lens with either a lens cloth or a paper towel with glass cleaner sprayed on it.

The lens are your light source and if dusty the picture will be darker and look somewhat dull.

Let me know if you have questions.

Hi there. i have an oympus FE-280 and the screen has become blurry. and takes blurry pictures. ( its not from a dirty lens). also when i turn on the camera it the lens pops in and out a few times before...

this is a good camera, don't throw it away!
Possible problems include: When your image appears distorted and with altered colors, in most of the cases there are two possible reasons:
- The internal shutter gets stuck , does not open completely or
-
The image sensor is damaged.

If all else fails, recycle it and they can possibly donate it to a school in need! http://www.teleplancamerarepair.com/recyclecamera.asp

Tried to clean lens now pictures are blurry

If you're very lucky, you can repair the damage with proper lens cleaning fluid, which you should be able to get from any good camera store (along with lens cleaning tissue). If you're unlucky, or simply not very lucky, the alcohol ate away some of the lens coating. Or perhaps the Q-tip scratched the lens.

In the future keep alcohol and Q-tips away from your lenses.

Problem with my Olympus FE-230

When I turn my camera on, the lens goes in and out a few times. Once it's finally on and I look at the screen, everything is blurry. When I take the picture, it's blurry too. If I try to use the zoom to adjust, the lens starts going in and out all crazy and won't adjust right.

Why do my Fun! Digital 320 pictures come out blurry?

Blurry images can be caused by any or all of the following: * Distance/Focus range -- the Fun! Digital 320 has a fixed focus range of 3 - 6 feet (1.8 meters) for brightly lit indoor photography, 3 ft. (1 meter) - infinity for outdoor photography. For best results, make sure that the camera is at least 3 feet away from the subject(s) when taking pictures. * Camera/Subject movement -- This is a common cause of blurriness, especially in low-light situations (see Lighting below). Hold the camera as steadily as possible while taking a photo, or use a tripod (a tripod mount is located on the bottom of the camera). Avoid subjects that are in motion. * Insufficient lighting -- the Fun! Digital 320 is designed for taking photos outdoors or in brightly lit environments. Inadequate lighting can exaggerate camera movement and contribute to blurred, "muddied," or uncrisp images. * Lens condition -- Check the lens periodically for smudges. If necessary, wipe the lens clean with a soft, lint-free cloth. Do not use cleaning solutions or chemically treated tissues. * Enlarging images using software -- otherwise normal digital images can appear to become blurry and/or blotchy when over-enlarged in software. To see an image's "true" appearance, use the software's Zoom In or Zoom Out feature to view it at 100%.

Blury pictures

it could be a few things like dust on your lens when you took an auto picture and it could have blown off from movement make sure your lens is clean, check your lens settings on the side if it is on the flower its for close up pictures and if its on the trees its for further away pictures so make sure its on the correct setting also pc cams only have digital zoom so if you zoom in it may appear to be blurry because it only zooms in on the picture which is made up of pixels as opposed to an optical lens which zooms in on the actual object so its not as blurry also check your menu settings mabey you messed something up, also remember to keep the camera still when taking pictures they are not that advanced. and if non of that works just use manual.
