Hi! Please try this. Unplug the printer from power source then press the power button for 10secs. while unplug to reset the system. Plug the printer after 10secs. then turn it on. Try it and see how it goes. Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa!

it may be the cartridges are dried up from being stored incorrectly take them back get new ones to rule that out first !! Hope this helps!!

My Phaser 8500 will not print and has error 08,045,43:75066 - Anyone know what this means?


The Xerox support site indicates there is a paper jam to the printer, so you should check the paper tray, front and exit cover for any jammed paper then power off and back on the printer. Does phaser 8560 and 8500 take same ink


The 8500 and the 8550 do use the same solid ink cartridges. Not sure about the 8560 since couldn't find information about it.

Xerox 8550 DN display does not work and printer does not print


This model of printer has a known fault with the LCD panel.

Contact xerox in your country, who will arrange to have a replacement front panel sent out to you to install

That has to do with the process drive motor timing or the maintenance kit binding.
A little involved in trouble shooting. If you want more details let me have an E-mail address and I can send you the info on what to do.
Just for clairification, you dont happen to be lucky enough to actually have a 09,007,42 code do you ? That would just be a stick ink stick.

Phaser 8550 Blurry


there is an encoder ring on your drum tha has gotten dirty with grease it needs to be cleaned off so colors will line up

When you service a Phaser 8500 or 8550 printer for:
· a persistent Ink Out message
· 9,035.43 Cyan Ink Stick Count Fault
· 9,036.44 Magenta Ink Stick Count Fault
· 9,037.45 Yellow Ink Stick Count Fault
· 9,038.46 Black Ink Stick Count Fault
Test the Ink Out Sensors for proper operation.
Inspect the Ink Sticks.
