Question about RCA HD50LPW165 50" Rear Projection HDTV
The audio amplifier has failed or some components around it have failed - they are soldered on the mainboard. The only way to know which ones is to open the tv and look and test the components. Start by checking the voltages at the amplifier, then the wire connections to the speakers, then if the sound signal really arrives at the amplifier and finally all the other components if it doesn't.
