Whirlpool Dryers Model LEQ9508LWD does not start problem I used to be able to start it by wegling conection of the dryer load door and dryer. now it stoped completly

It sounds to me you could have a faulty door micro switch or the door is not aligned properly. When you open & close door the switch should operate so the drum stops when you take things out of dryer.
There will be a little plastic pillar on the door which presses the switch when door closed. Make sure the door isn't warped.

My dryer takes a long time to dry the heater kicks on and off intermittantly

A dryer is supposed to kick on and off intermittently as its dries. The heating circuits are regulated by a thermostat that will turn the element on or off as the cycle progresses. It also works in conjunction with a humidity sensor (if equipped with an "Auto-Dry" feature) to increase or decrease the heat depending upon the moisture level in the drum.

If your dryer is STILL heating, but you are experiencing longer dry times and/or poor drying efficiency, the following link can give you some items to check before you assume there is a malfunction with your dryer:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3578821-dryer_takes_too_long_to_dry

The number one cause of dryer heat related problems is poor exhaust ventilation. If not vented properly, a dryer will not dry efficiently, will take longer than required to dry, and will cause the heating circuits to overheat to the point of failure. The dryer will actually seem hotter as the heating circuits begin to overheat. This is also the source of many fire hazards if not resolved. Read through the link provided and review some of the potential causes.

If you have any questions, please post back and let me know. Please include your MODEL NUMBER, so I can determine how your dryer is configured. I hope you find this information is helpful.

Propane dryer. Can hear the heat kick on but dryer doesn't heat

Try looking at the gas regulator. It should have a solenoid that opens and closes. It sounds to me like this is not opening or is only opening partially. I had this same problem on an oven.

Heat kick on then off

these are heat cycles,
the click you are hearing is the thermostat turning the element on or off, most dryers try to acheive a temp of 160 - 180 degrees, when reached the element shuts off for a bit to cool down and not scorch your clothes
you do not have to worry about this
