Compaq 1400p wont work on my XP.

I have tried two different computers.Intalled on the windows 95 but it wont print.
I tried to install it on my new computer with XP and it's telling me the software that came with the 1400p to install the driver with hasn't passed windows logo tesing to see if it is compatible with XP.I installed anyway overriding and it wont print.
Suggest a new solution for this problem
