Under the front of the fridge behind the metal kick, there is a drip pan, these pans usually have a heater to evaporate the water in the pan. To get a low eer rating they wont hook up the pan heater until after the consumer has purchased the unit, check that the pan heater is connected. and you should be good to go. If your not sure, you can empty the pan with a wet vac until you can get the pan heater working.Good luck Behind this kick there also is the water line hookup for the icemaker and water dispenser check to make sure your connections are secure

My defy front loader filled up with water at 2am last night while not in use...flooding my kitchen. the machine tap is always left open, but is active only when the machine has been switched on???

the water inlet valve is faulty and is not closing fully when powered off causing a small but constant stream of water coming into the machine until it floods out the front, you will need to replace the water inlet valve, in the meantime turn the taps off when your not using it

I went through flood water last night and car turned off.I have a 2002 saturn L100

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO START YOUR CAR THIS WILL CAUSE SERIOUS DAMAGE IF WATER HAS GONE INTO THE ENGINE,

The engine combusts fuel, obviously and expels gasses. It is not designed to run with water in it, water cannot be compressed and will cause damage through hydraulic action to the interior of your engine if you are unlucky. Do not attempt to start the car or sort the issue yourself, you almost certainly need the services of a qualified mechanic

Kenmore washing machine 2 year old is now flooding my floor every 20 loads happiend 4 times. Please help.

Is the water flooding coming from the top of the washing machine?
Check the drain pipe in the back to see that it's not loose. Also, look inside the drain pipe and make sure there is no algae. Algae might cause low flow through the drain pipe and it will overflow.

Hope this helps.

I woke up last night with water running from under my refrigerator flooding my kitchen & basement. What could be causing the problem? Also how do I remove the evaporator pan? So much stuff is...

check and make sure that the water fill valve does not have a crak in it usually not enough water in the defrost pan to cause any kind of flooding issue. it is either a bad water valve or a broken water line somewhere on the unit

Dishwasher is not draining and is flooding out the side

It sounds like the float valve is clogged and or you have a timer problem (which is way down on the list of probabilities...very rare...last thing to happen generally ...but not impossible.)....on the floor of the DW is a round Mushroom looking float valve that rises with the water and shuts the water off at a specific time...usually when full....it often gets gunk in it...(soap...debris...etc) and it sticks in the down...too much water...or in the up...no water....position...take it off...just lift up...and listen for a clicking noise...check to see if it is clean...if not clean it and replace it...push it up and down listening for the clicking noise...if you don't hear one...then it may not be making contact with the contactor...check to see that it does...and it it is and no contact noise with movement replace the contact.

Also some DW's have a sump (drain ) area where water collects to drain...sometimes debris collects in this area....and inhibits drainage...check to see that no debris (careful could be broken glass) is inhibiting drainage.

Hope this helps....and good luck...let me know if it does not... thanks for rating my effort...The Fang.

Oil and water on floor near upright freezer

Possible you have a sealed system problem, although you state it is working now. Maybe an overflow from drain pan is why there is water again.

Ice Maker in door of freezer-ref combo.

The ice maker has a float or full detection device that shuts the water off when trays are full. If you are sure this is where the water is coming from, then that's it.

Dshwasher has water on the bottom after cycle

Hi
Check the bottom of the machine and where water goes, there might be some scrap food,or other item that is not allowing the water to go in the time when the valve is open. This leaves some water and increases in other cycles, causing flooding on the floor. Also check for bend in the pipes at the back.
Hope this helps
