Question about Dishwashers
There is no pressure valve that directly controls spray pressure, the only pressure switch in the dishwasher is used to detect the water level.
The groaning noise is usually given by a clogged or malfunctioning impeller pump.
The repair is done inspecting the hose connected to the pump, and then replacing the pump, which is usually responsible.
Before replacing the pump ensure that noise is not coming by spray arms rubbing on the baskets (that noise is not high pitched).
