Making meringue with hand held bamix

Use the A blade and make sure whatever you are mixing the egg whites in is scrupulously free from any grease etc. Make sure the bowl is clean and dry before you use it.

I inherited a hand-held blender; the stem is not detachable. How do I wash it?

Just blend warm water with a litle soap and then dry it with a dry cloath. Remeber to remove the socket when you dry it out for extra safety.

The blades on my blendtec jug are stiff, any way to loosen them?

What you need to do is turn them by hand each time you use it, before you put your food in. Sugars and other deposits are often left around the blade assembly when you mix smoothies and stuff. Often this sugar is difficult to clean. Turn them by hand first to break the sugar molecules, then when you are done I would add 2 inches of water and a drop of soap. Run it for about 20 seconds and rinse. That should help the next time you use it. It also helps to use it daily. It keeps the molecules from hardening.

Whisk blade on BAMIX hand-held blender is frozen!

try to gently twist the blade up and around the shaft with a pair of pliers. I've loosened mine by pushing and pulling on the blade with the pliers. be sure to use caution so as not to wreck the blade.
