Re: Problems with your Philips 37PF7320A 37 in remote...
If the remote has been replaced the IR receiver could be bad. Try changing the channels with by the tv. Most likely that is the problem.Beside that the small signal board could be an issue. But I would the IR receiver would be first.

Read your Philips setup info that came with your tv very carefully and also if applicable read your cable box setup info very carefully then set every thing up like it says also check tv audio menu and make sure the audio is set to on
This is an easy fix using the Philips remote control that came with your tv. On the center of the remote is a dial that has left right up down controls. Stand in front of the tv and using those controls you can recenter the screen and get rid fo the green line. I had same problem when we hooked up hd satellite reciver to philips 37 plasma
If that TV has a 'menu' button on the front of the set, make sure nothing like coca-cola has spilled into where that switch is located. I would try a different remote in case the remote is getting flaky....
Connect the DVD to the back of the set on AV2 red white and yellow rca cable . Then to the other end to the DVD red white and yellow. Turn the DVD on and press play. On the tv remote below the number 7 there is an AV button. Press that button and put the tv to AV2. Your DVD picture should be there.
I had this exact same problem. After a week or so it started responding to the remote control again. Then after a couple of days it stopped responding. This problem came and went for about a month, then one day the entire TV went dead. When I powered it on, the green light appeared for 2 seconds followed by a sequence of 6 flashing red lights that repeated. I brought my set in to a repair shop and they replaced the power supply board. That fixed the problem and now the TV powers up and responds to the remote control again. Total charge was $250. That was very disappointing for a $1,500 TV that was only 18 months old. I'm going to let Philips know how disappointed I am in their product!
The proble is the IR sensor 932220681667 or the small signal board. I would replace the IR sensor first. Also check the firmware and make sure it is BX23U-18.104.22.168_03531 and if it is not go to www.usasupport.com and down load the firware on a USB stick. If the set still has the problem when both are done replace the small signal board.
