Hi there I have a Uniden BC92XLT Nascar scanner, but some frequencies cannot be found. For instance the frequency range between 60 and 90 mhz is not on the scanner. How do I unlock those? Some of the...

Sorry, but there is no way to "unlock" or modify the frequency coverage of the BC92XLT or any other recently-manufactured scanner. Your only option is to purchase a scanner designed to include the frequency range that you are after. If you don't already have it, you can download and print the operating instructions for your scanner here:

I have a model BC92XLT and want to reset it to factory original settings. How do I do this? Thanks so much, Joni

Turn radio off ... while holding down 2, 9 and HOLD keys, turn it back on by holding down the power button. Yes, it is awkward ...
Takes about 3 seconds, scanner will tell you it is CLEAR.

Im trying to find a police channel in my area and cant what do i do

If you are in or near a large metropolitan area it's possible that your police communications are now using a trunked radio system. If that's the case you will not be able to monitor them with the BC92XLT - you will need a scanner designed for trunked systems.

HOW DO YOU PROGRAM A UNIDEN SCANNER, JUST PURCHASE IT. BUT DON;T UNDERSTAND HOW TO PROGRAM IT. CANNOT SET UP CLOCK CAN NOT PROGRAM CHANELS.

There is no clock function on the BC92XLT. To program a frequency, power the scanner ON, then press HOLD to stop scanning. Next, enter the channel number that you wish to program (01, 02, etc.). Push FUNC, then PGM, then enter the frequency you wish to program, including the decimal point (example, 156.075). Press the E key to complete the entry.

Unfortunately the BC92XLT does not support computer programming. It was replaced by the BC95XLT which does support this.
