Question about Philips SA5125/37 MP3 Player
Someone please make a copy of all of the files on a working SA 5125/27 and put them on the internet. As far as I have seen almost all of the problems are caused by some sort of software malfunctions. Mine is still recognized, but the Device Manager is saying that it is not working correctly and will not repair it. A complete format and 're-install' of the required files should put it back into working condition.
Reformat player - will not require software code - you can reformat through the computer or through Windows Media Player, and then perform a firmware upgrade.
There is an address in your manual for some guy in Hong Kong that has the code - he will send it if he chooses -he will not post it on the internet - no one else has it - you must write to the address in the manual to get it.
