Question about Televison & Video
Er01, Er02 -The upgrade failed. Some information was missed out.
Er07 - Access problem in back-up memory (EEPROM).
That's a fairly major error you have there, this is a memory problem, and or a CPU access problem. In any event this is NOT DIY repairable, in fact most likely this is a fairly terminal condition.
The first error is what one gets after a bad "Flashing" of firmware OR when the unit fails to checksum program codes, it is most likely tied in with the second one, that indicates that the Memory, the EEPROM couldn't be read/written to correctly, so most likely the Micro is involved as well.
If this could be repaired at all, you would have to get it looked at by a Sagem, service center, however, they would most likely just have to replace the main board, and I think that this may not be an economic thing to do, with this in mind, please ask for a 'Quote" before allowing any work to proceed. as cost with these types of things can quickly escalate quickly.
