There is no way to install the games to the xbox's hard drive without modding the console first and without the proper technical knowledge theres high chances you can damage the console beyond use or repair. My advice is to either find the closest most reliable repair/modding shop or to purchase a mod kit online. I hope this offers some assistance. Good luck.

I have a xbox 360 slim and i want to play a game without the disk i have an external hard drive and a usb is there a way to do this and if so can i play online?

yes there is a way to do this but no you cannot play online. Xbox live has a verification system and can detect modified xbox systems. Once a Xbox is detected as modified, it is banned from xbox live and would require a clean code to get back on after the system is no longer modified.

if you are in the united states, the practice to modchipping is illegal and the purchase of such items are a felony.

It is possible that your game is scratched up enough that you can't play it directly on your xbox 360... BUT you might still be able to play it is you can save it to your Xbox 360 hard drive. You might need to try it a few times to get it to read and work but try following these instructions for installing the game from your CD directly onto your Hard drive. You will still need to have the CD in your Xbox 360 to play but it will be reading from your hard drive if you can install it. Good luck:

Likely that for some reason the Xbox is having a hard time reading the disc and it is spinning the drive trying to search for files on the disk. If you aren't having the same issue with other games then recommend to resolve this issue then simply install the game onto your hard drive and the game will then only need to be accessed for verification only and the game will be played off your hard drive and not your disk drive. Here are the instructions for insalling a game to your hard drive:
Install Xbox 360 games on your hard drive from a game disc Note Installing an Xbox 360 game on a hard drive requires between 4 and 8 gigabytes (GB) of free disc space.
  1. Insert the game disc into the disc drive.

  4. Press Y on your controller.
  5. Select Install to Hard Drive.

You specify the xbox 360 do you know what year model you have? If it as earlier model then likely you are running into system instability with many reasons for the error being possible.

Does the error only appear with one particular title or across your game library?

If it is just one game then attempt to install the game onto your hard drive and play the game after that. To install the game onto your hard drive you will need to do the following:

Install Xbox 360 games on your hard drive from a game disc Note Installing an Xbox 360 game on a hard drive requires between 4 and 8 gigabytes (GB) of free disc space.

I have never heard this issue before. You probably have a lager issue then what can be resolved here and might face future issue in the future. Is this the only game you are having issues with?

Seeing that you mentioned you have purchased a hard drive then I would recommend you install the game to your hard drive and try play after that. This will resolve any issues possably of your disk drive possably getting hung up during gameplay.

follow these instructions to get your game installed on your hard drive:

Install Xbox 360 games on your hard drive from a game disc Note Installing an Xbox 360 game on a hard drive requires between 4 and 8 gigabytes (GB) of free disc space.

I don't know how to uninstall or reinstall an xbox 360 game. Please Help!

First of all...you need to have the new desktop update to be able to install games. Once you have that, on the tile that shows what game is in the disk drive, press the Y button. This will take you to a screen that will install the game to your HARD DRIVE. You need a hard drive with at least 7 Gigs free. To uninstall games just go to the system settings memory menu, navigate to games, then navigate to the name of the game you installed. Open that and the biggest saved data will be your installed game.

Xbox360

i suspect you bought the xbox 360 core version. this does not come with a hard drive and therefore you cannot play original games. since you have the 30 day warranty i'd recommend you buy either the premium (comes with 20 gb hard drive) or the elite (120 gb hard drive). or you can buy a hard drive seperately and install it, however it's very overpriced like all 360 accessories

hopefully that helps
