I have a Kodak EasyShare C195 digital camera. it states the internal memory is full. how can I clear it to continue to use the camera? Thank you

If you have a memory card inside the camera, you have to remove it and then turn on the camera, press the photo review button and you should see what is recorded in the internal memory? You can now delete the photos or recordings off the internal memory, mind you that most internal memory on cameras are limited but to a few photos only, you are better off using a regular SD card since it has way more memory than the internal memory in the camera.

Intova internal memory photos

Hello,
The internal memory for Sport HD II is not meant for storing and downloading images/videos. It is used for the cameras operating software. Unfortunately there is no function in the camera to download images stored in the internal memory. However, you can delete these files by going to the view images screen by pressing the OK button in either video or photo mode and then pressing the menu button and following the prompts. As stated in our user manual, Sport HD II must be used with a properly installed micro SD card up to 32GB size maximum and class 6 or 10 speed required. If you need further assistance, please contact Intova directly by phone, (808) 837-0074 or email shallyn@intova.net
Thank you,
Intova

**Help** The pictures I just took are gone, and its now on Internal Memory?

I believe you can take the memory card out and go to view pictures and when you find the pics that are on there select the pic and then hit the menu button on camera or settings button!! it should ask to send to memory card but first take memory card out and make sure that they are there then insert card and hit settings on the picture and select to send to memory card

I took pictures on my camera without a memory card can i still download my pictures

I'm glad to provide the steps to transfer images from Internal Memory of the Camera. When the camera does not have a memory card in it, the images are saved by default to the camera's internal memory, which holds different amounts of images based on how many megapixels are built into the internal memory and what image quality and compression are selected in the camera's menu. Once a memory\picture card is inserted in the camera, the camera then saves the photos to the memory\picture card and ignores the internal memory.

There are two ways to transfer the images from the internal memory.

  • To transfer photos to a computer from the internal memory using the USB cable, first remove the memory card from the camera. Then, when the camera is connected, the computer and software will only see what is in the internal memory and transfer those photos or videos. During the transfer process, the computer makes copies of the photos and videos-the original images remain in the internal memory. After the transfer is complete and the camera is safely disconnected from the computer, the contents of the internal memory can be deleted by using the MEMORY FORMAT function in the SETUP menu in the camera's menus.

  • The other way to transfer photos from the internal memory is to transfer them to the memory\picture card using the BACKUP function in the SETUP menu. If there is no memory\picture card in the camera, the BACKUP function is grayed-out. During BACKUP, copies of the images are transferred to the memory\picture card-the original images remain in the internal memory. After the BACKUP is complete, the internal memory can be cleared by removing the memory\picture card and formatting the internal memory using the MEMORY FORMAT function in the SETUP menu in the camera's menus.

Note: When the camera is connected to a computer using the USB cable with a memory\picture card in the memory\picture card slot, the computer will only see the contents of the memory\picture card.

Thanks for understanding. Please let me know if you require any additional help.

Camcorder keeps reading internal memory full and just put new memory stick in camcorder how do I get out of internal memory

Your Sony camcorder has internal hard-disk and records by default to this media. If this is full, you need to offload the recordings and free up some space on the disk. But to select the memory card you can do the following:

Selecting the recording media for movies:
Touch (MENU) [Show others] [MEDIA SETTINGS] (under
[MANAGE MEDIA] category) [MOVIE MEDIA SET].
The [MOVIE MEDIA SET] screen appears.

Touch the desired recording media.

Touch [YES] .OK
The recording medium is now changed.

For still images:
Selecting the recording media for photos
Touch (MENU) [Show others] [MEDIA SETTINGS] (under
[MANAGE MEDIA] category) [PHOTO MEDIA SET].
The [PHOTO MEDIA SET] screen appears.

Touch the desired recording media.

Touch [YES] .OK
The recording medium is changed.
Hope this helps, if more help needed, reply back.

My finepixZ20fd says ''images recorded to internal memeory'' and won't transfer the photos to the computer when the USB is connected.

The message "images recorded to internal memory'' is just a warning, that there is no memory card in the camera. It doen't necessarily mean that there are any images saved in the internal memory.
The message should rather have been "images will be recorded to the internal memory"

Photos I want aren't on my xd card but on internal memory????

You'll need to install the software that came with the camera onto your computer then connect the camera with the USB cable that came with it to your computer. The software will start when it senses your camera is connected and you'll be able to access the camera internal memory. Otherwise, you can copy the internal memory contents to the memory card from the camera itself from the menu system.

This means that the internal memory of the camera is full. Apart from the external memory slot, camera's have this what you call internal memory. It is built-in to the unit itself.

What you want to do is to set the default storage to the external memory instead of the internal once.

On the Menu, navigate to image store and then choose AUTO.

Auto (default)—the camera uses the card if one is in the
camera. If not, the camera uses internal memory.
Internal Memory—the camera uses internal memory,
even if a card is installed.

Also, you would want to set the camera resolution to a lower value to. The higher the pixel rate, the bigger space it eats up in your memory storage.
