Question about Magellan Maestro 4250 GPS
Below the left hand side of the screen on the bottom is a hole. Use a paper clip and press and hold the button for 10 to reset the unit and after doing that still same problem you need to have the unit send for repair this is a hardware error already.

Unplug the mouse. Boot into the bios and see if the keyboard will work there. If it will. exit the bios. As soon as you see the Dell splash screen start tapping the F8 key and boot inot safe mode. See if the keyboard will work in safe mode. If it will that means you have a driver conflict in normal mode.
If neither of these options work, Contact Dell to get the system either
A. Onsite repair
B. Replace the system.
Also try.....1) disconnect A/C power supply, 2) remove battery, 3) press and hold the "power on" button for between 15 to 30 seconds, 4) re-install the battery, 5) re-start the laptop.
