the link shows all years, and variances.

here is a photo review, that is accurate up to
1998, and beyond , if you skip the bearing service parts. as yours are INTEGRATED
and NON-serviceable.

the photo 6a and B
shows removing the hub,
so do that , buy a new hub and put it back
the same way, using the tool stated
at the stated ranges of torque
123-180 ft/lbs.
this range allows you to get the screws into the locking rings.

How to remove rear wheel

Hi, I hope I can help with this.
You should only have to remove the lug nuts and the wheel and tire will be removed. If you removed the center wheel nut then it sounds like you are trying to remove the brake rotor. To remove the wheel the 5 or 6 lug nuts need to be removed. To remove the rear spare tire there is a plastic cover to remove which then has a key hole (locks for security). You will need to unlock this as well.

I got a 1998 Nissan Pathfinder what size wheel spacers do I need to put aftermarket rims on it

1. You don't need wheel spacers for aftermarket wheels for your vehicle. Who told you did? There are a large number of wheels that will fit straight onto the vehicle and will clear the brakes no problem.

2. You will need hub centric rings with many wheels so that the wheel fits flush onto the hub mounting . The wheel dealers will provide you with the correct size hub rings when you purchase the wheels. The hub rings snap into the wheel center and are fitted to the back side of the wheel center.
What is hub centric ring

3. You need to ensure you use a wheel that is a compatible/suitable offset so that the wheel and tire will not sit too far inside the wheel well so you have sufficient inside clearance as well as sufficient clearance for the brakes. In other words suitable clearance inside and outside. If you are looking at certain wheels that will require a wheel spacer to clear your brakes you are looking at the wrong product and an unsuitable fitment for your Nissan.

Remove steering wheel on 85 dodge diplomat

Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Remove the horn pad on the steering wheel-Phillips head screws from the back side of wheel. Then loosen the nut on the steering wheel center. Mark the steering wheel to column shaft position, so the wheel goes back in exact same position on the shaft. You may need a steering wheel puller to get the wheel off the shaft, not always, but sometimes the wheel is on pretty tight. Do not hammer on the wheel to get it off, use a puller if needed. These pullers are at parts stores and not expensive.

why are you trying to pull the ( wheel ) . If you need to replace the 2 broken lugs then all you need to do id hammer them back thru the ( wheel ) and go get 2 new ones that match those broken ones and hammer them back in from the back side of the ( wheel )

A headset wire stuck (wound) in crack of steering column in 1998 Contour. How do we retrieve it? Can the wheel be dismantled?

Yes - the steering wheel can be removed, just be prepared for the wire to be smashed or mangles and unusable. Look on the back side of the steering wheel - you will see some small holes for the retaining screws for the center piece of the steering wheel. If your model has an airbag in the wheel you will need to disconnect the battery to prevent activating the airbag.Remove the panel below the steering wheel to access the harness for the airbag and unplug. Now remove those retaining screws and the center piece of the wheel. Now you will see a large nut on the center shaft of the column. Before you remove the center nut, look at how many threads are exposed above the nut before removing. Lock the steering wheel and remove that nut. Now you will need a steering wheel puller. Find the fasteners that fit your wheel and mount the puller, Turn the puller shaft 3 turns and try to remove wire - if it won't come out then you'll need to completely remove the wheel to extract the wire. Place the wheel back on the column shaft and use that center nut to re - install the steering wheel. You may need to place that nut socket over the shaft around the threaded part and tap lightly to seat the wheel far enough to use the nut to seat the wheel back down. Press steering wheel until it sits where it did in the beginning. Re - install center piece, plug in airbag and replace that lower panel. Your local auto parts store may have a steering wheel puller for rent - if not, they are not expensive to buy ( should be less than $10.00 USD).
Hope this helps!!
