Question about Rheem M206A 206K BTU Pool and Spa Propane Gas Heater
The first thing you should ck is your baskets and filter to be sure they are clean. They can cause a drop in water pressure and that will keep the heater from lighting.
Also you can check your roll out switch. This looks like a black tube over a wire that runs just over the burners. If this is loose on the wire it is probally OK. If it is shrunk tight on the wire it has probally gone bad. It is just a wax switch that when fire rolls out yhe front of the heater melts and a spring makes it open to shut the heater down so the flame dosn't hurt any thing else in the heater. If this is the problem you will need to find why you have fire roll out before you replace the switch.
