Under the sink or pantry counter, follow the hot water pipe or hose that supplies the unit, to the hot water pipe that supplies the sink's taps, you should find a valve, make sure it is opened.

How do I clear the hose that goes through the faucet? Water doesn't come out of faucet.

  • Get a bucket.
  • Go under the counter. You'll see some shut-offs. Close those.
  • Disconnect the lines -after- the shutoffs that go to the faucet.
  • Some water will drip out of the lines -- catch that with the bucket.
  • SLOOWWWWLY open the shut offs. WATER WILL COME OUT. A LOT OF WATER. Catch it with the bucket. You just need to crack them a little.
  • When water is clear, put it back together.
If that doesn't work, then you may need to clean or replace the cartridge. Those directions depend on the type of faucet. Google "cartridge removal" and the brand/type of faucet for more details.

I am getting no water from the hot side of all my faucets cold water works fine

Sounds like the water inlet valve to your hot water heater has been closed (turned off) If the tank has no water coming in, it can't put anything out.

How do i stop air pop when hot water faucet first turns on?

kinda sounds like a form of water hammer. try shutting of water at house main. open lowest and highest faucets to let them drain for a bit and introduce air into system to replace air in any anti water hammer setup you might have. then close them, turn water on. open faucets to get air out. and see if that improves the system. good luck

Moen kitchen faucet

Hi Steve-If the faucet is definitely getting water (making sure all the cut-off valves are open along the way), the Moen single handle faucets all use a replaceable cartridge that is available at home supply stores. This cartridge is what regulates the pressure and the temperature of the water coming out of your faucet. This is likely faulty. You'll need to close the supply valves (hot and cold) underneath your sink prior to replacing.

No hot water flow through faucets

At the back of the water heater there will be a series of valves. One on the bottom, sometimes one on the top and then one in a line that connects the top to the bottom lines. Make sure the middle valve is closed and the top and bottom valves are open. If there is not a valve on the top that can be manually opened and closed then there is a check valve installed. This check valve will allow the hot water out of the tank but will prevent the back flow of cold water during the winterization bypass. If the valve on top is closed it will not allow hot water out. If the middle valve is opened it will allow the cold water to mix with hot water and defeat the purpose having a water heater. Close the middle open the top and bottom. If there is not one on top then the check valve is probably clogged or has failed and need to be cleaned or replaced.

We had to turn off the water to our house to fix a leak in a pipe in our attic. When we turned the water back on, no water is coming out of our two danze faucets. Everything else in the house works fine....

remove the aireators and then turn the faucets on to see if they work, the aireators is the where the water comes out and there are screens in there that may have gotten plugged with debris.

No water coming out hot water faucets cold is fine.

First check to see if the main faucet to your hot water system is turned on. It could be someone has closed it. It is located around the bottom of your system. If that is open, water should be entering the tap.. To check this shut the main faucet at your water system and using a wrench loosen the connection from the faucet to the system and slowly open the faucet to see water comes out.. If it does that means the main water serivce to the system is fine .. You can also check this at the system by gently opening the outlet connection which should be at the top of the system , ensure that the main faucet At the bottom of the system is closed, once the connection at the top has been loosened slowly open the faucet to see if water comes out of the outlet.. If it does then the problem is from the system to your household faucets.. Could be a crushed water line . Also check to see if your hot water faucet is not Jammed. Sometimes the rubber inside the hot water faucet could be blocking the water if the faucet has been recently over tightened when closed.. Hope all goes well

Heater comes on with water

please see the next step:
he pilot light may be out or may not stay lit. There may not be enough hot water, or the water may be too hot. The water heater may leak or be noisy, or the hot water may be dirty.
A problem with your water heater may be due to overwork, not mechanics. If your water heater holds less than 15 gallons per family member (tank volume is stamped on a metal plate affixed to most water heaters), consider a larger unit or staggering your use of hot water.
Drain a hot water tank:
  1. Turn the gas-control knob to off and close the gas-shutoff valve.
  2. Close the cold-water supply valve and open a hot-water faucet in the house to speed draining.
  3. Attach a garden hose to the drain valve and run it outside to a drain. If the heater is in the basement you may need to run the hose to or through a sump pump.
  4. Open the drain valve and allow the tank to drain.
  5. Once done, close the drain valve, open the cold-water supply valve, and open any nearby hot-water faucet. When a steady stream of water flows from that faucet, the tank is full; close the hot-water faucet.
  6. Once the tank is full, turn on the gas and relight the pilot.

I open the faucet and no water comes out. I close it and wait I hear a pop then I turn the water on and it comes out.

Look at washer issues in the shut off valve before the faucet. these have washers that stick and block flow. If not, you have to remove the faucet and disassemble, looking for particulate matter, but your description sounds like cut off valve issue, pretty common.
