I have a Minolta Autopak AFT SLIDE PROJECTOR. I am having trouble opening the slide injector arrm. As a result, I am unable to insert the slide tray. The slide tray is a Sawyer Rototray. Note that this is a slide projector, not a camera. It was made in the USA in the early to mid 70's. Thank you, Art Behn

Hi.

Unfortunately the manual for this vintage projector is not available.

Here you can purchase manual book: Minolta Autopak AF/2 & AFT/2 Instruction Manual

Revere automatic slide projector model P-888 It turns on and blower and bulb work fine but I do not know how to open the shutter on the lens to see the slides... any help would be appreciated.

Watch the slides are they loading?, it will very obvious to the ***** eye. The lens has no cover do that is not the problem. It is a common problem that the plastic slide loading arm breaks.

I get E-01 error of my cd changer

The fault is actually inside the CD changer, when one disc is selected the changer moves the gearing inside to slot from one CD to the other.
While this operation is happening the selection arm jams !!
Then giving an error at the radio display..

To fix the problem, disconnect the CD changer from the trunk of the car,
take off the top plastic slide cover,
with a small screwdriver slowly move the gearing so that the CD disc holder will move back to the load - unload position.

Pop out the CD holder.

Replace unit, reconnect the optic and power lead, switch on radio and the unit will work again,

grease the moving parts with light lubricant

Good Luck

Jvc xl-f254 cd changer for home. 5 disc changer. Carousel will not slide out. makes humming noise, possibly trying to open.

Take the cover off and inspect for a jammed disc.

If there are no jammed discs you either have a broken belt or stripped gear.

You will have to take the unit apart and inspect, belts are commercially available from electronic stores and are a cheap easy fix!

Let me know if you need more details or guidance.

Cheers!

6 CD Changer Stuck (Lexus LX 470)

Open the eject door and at the lower right side of the cartridge their should be a small indent that looks like you could poke it with a medium point pen. That's a reset for the changer. If that does not work, you will need to remove the changer from the car, pull off the top, plug the cable back in and hit eject. look for the arm on the backside of the cartridge and give it a nudge. It may just be stuck. Loading mechanisms usually do not fail before the optics or other!. If you need further help, post a comment with any model #'s on the changer and I'll look for info and help some more. Hope this helps.

throw a grenade at it and hopefully the arms will fly off, whatever happened to a nut on a threaded flange to hold wipers on. No wonder imports own the market.

My 2001 Jetta 6 disc changer has a cassette but I don't know how to get it out of the changer. Does the car need to be on?

The front of the disc changer has a sliding panel (usualy the left side slides to the right). After you open it completely either on left or right bottom (inside) you will see a little red or yellow push button. This allows to eject the cassette. No, the car doesn't need to be on, but depending if the wiring is standard or not it doesn't harm if the car is on.

There is no album art appearing

If it was never associated with the music when you downloaded the music, then there is nothing to show and therefore, wont show.
