Question about Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 1000 Keyboard/Mouse
I'm typing this with my old dell keyboard. The new microsoft one just won't work. I plug in the receiver, press the button and press the button on the back of the keyboard. the LED's on the receiver go off. I do the sam,e with my mouse, but it won't work. Any advice?
After starting up the computer with the wireless receiver, keyboard and mouse attached,, (with good batteries in both) install the CD software program and thenif it doesn't work follow these instructions:
Normal 0 Press the Receiver button (and the lights will start flashing.
Then if the Keyboard isn't working, press the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the board to connect the keyboard to the receiver.
If the MOUSE isn’t working, push the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the mouse to connect to the receiver. Then they should work okay.
Hope this helps. Bud
