If you get blue screen while booting in safe mode you can try a few more steps:
-Unplug all the peripherals plugged with the cmputer.
-press F8 when you turn on.
- try last known good configration and see if it works.
-if it doesnt then try safe mode with command prompt
-if it works boot in safe mode with command prompt
-At the command prompt, type %systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe, and then press ENTER.
-Follow the instructions that appear on the screen to restore your computer to a date when it was working fine.
If this doesnot works you will need to do a recovery you can do that if you have a recovery partiton on your system.
Or get a windows disc to repair your operating system.

My laptop screen is black. The power button is lighting up blue and I can hear the fans but nothing happens.

Switch ON the PC, boot the PC in 'Safe Mode' by continuously tapping F8 button after you switch On until you get the Safe Mode Option.

Let windows boot in Safe Mode and log in to windows.

Go to 'Start'--->Programs--->Accessories--->System Tools--->Click 'System Restore'

A 'System Restore' window will appear.

Here you will have to check "Restore computer to an earlier time' and click Next

Now you will find one Month Calendar window with Dates below, go to the previous month by clicking the '

Note: It is better if you could remember from which date you are facing the issue, try to select a date prior to that date.

The detail of that particular date should show "System Checkpoint" and time on the right hand side box. Select that date.

Now, Click on Next and System Restore will start and windows will take a reboot.

After reboot your problem should be resolved.

My computer was a blue screen, what is the solution?

Blue screen or blue screen of death (BSOD) is common with windows family of operating system and it happens to stop any damage to your system when OS fails. If it happened once, nothing to worry about but if its happening again and again, you need to check for any recently installed hardware or software, it maybe incompatible. If this is not the case then maybe you need an upgrade.

Dell vostro 1320 keeps freezing all the time. Any time I click on the keypad it take some munites before it comes.

These are the steps that you need to take, and the instructions on how to do it:
1. Reboot into Safemode
2. Run a virus and spyware scanner
3. Defrag
4. Scandisk
5. Registry error repairing
6.Reboot into regular mode windows

Here is how to do it:
Reboot yor machine while holding the F8 key right as it boots back up. A menu will apear. Choose -->"start windows in safe mode with networking".
Windows will start in safe mode. Run an AVG virus scan, then run Defrag by exploring your computer, right click on C: drive, click PROPERTIES, then the TOOLS tab, click the "check now" button, and only checkmark the top box 'fix file system errors', then click ok, the computer will then tell you it will scan upon next reboot., Now click the DEFRAG NOW button. the choose defrag. After Defrag runs for about an hour and it is finished, restart the system. If is still won't run normally, go back into Safemode buy pressing F8 on reboot, then run a registry fixing program such as uniblue registrybooster, then reboot again. If it still won't run right, you may want to reinstall Windows and see if that works. If reinstalling windows doesn't fix it, it is definitely a hardware problem.
PRINT THESE INSTRUCTIONS AND KEEP A COPY NEAR YOUR SYSTEM FOR FUTURE PROBLEMS. THIS SERIES OF STEPS CAN FIX MANY PROBLEMS
Good luck.

Blue screen error

Hi aman10
when you switch on your laptop before windows logo POP-UP
try to press F8 and you should have list of menu to choose.
Try going in the safemode(The first choice). If you could get in the safemode(the process take longer to get inside windows),the first question is do you want to do system restore,
you should choose yes and select the back date that your laptop was working fine.Let it complete the process unitl it reboot again.
** incase still the same problem then try again and go more backward.

I deleted a dll file for my omnipass

Try booting up into safemode.

Reboot your pc.
Keep pressing F8 before you see the windows logo.
If you did it right, you should come to a screen where you can select Safemode.

If that doesn't work call Fujitsu support and ask for a recovery disk.
