Need more info here. Where is the noise coming from? The inside unit (furnace or air handler section), or the outdoor unit?

Or is it a window unit or other self-contained system?

This may sound weird but the last couple weeks I have been hearing a reving noise which sounds like its coming either inside my dash behind the speedometer panel or inside my hood. It sounds like a remote...

Ok i have a couple questions for you. Is your a/c or fan on? Is the sound consistent with your rpms(higher pitch with higher rpms and lower pitch for lower rpms)?

Back up your files and buy a replacement drive the grinding noise is the hard drive experiencing mechanical failure and may stop working soon.

Hi, we have a humming sound that is really loud,

Yes, its fan noise and you need to replace noisy fan.
Let me know exact model of your Sony TV and need to know what fan is producing noise to provide you part number and parts shop info to buy that fan.

Sanyo LCD TV speaker hum at low volume

if the hum is only on the speaker s and not the headphones and you have tried the ground and ferrites I would suggest it is a amplifier problem. Either take it back for refund or plug a small set of amplified speakers into the headphone jack. i.e computer speakers or such- that will at least tell you if it is indeed the amplifier.

My vacuum is very loud ...

If it sounds really high pitched or like a airplane i would bet your motor is shot in which case it would exceed cost of your unit.
