Question about Linksys Wireless-G WRT54G Router
Go to your Start Menu and
then to Run.
In the Run box, type cmd and hit Enter to bring up a Command Prompt.
In the Command Prompt box, type ipconfig
Write down the value next to default gateway.
Hook your computer up to the router using an ethernet cable. Power it up and you should see the lights on the router. To enter your router configuration page, type in the default gateway number.
You will be prompted for a username and a password. Leave the Username field blank and enter admin in the password field. (Please consult your router documentation for the default username and password.)
Click "Ok" to continue.
In the setup you will have to put in your host name and domain name and few other settings provided by your network provider depending on your network.
Then select save settings.
