Use the keyboard.
Click the Windows-flag key (bottom-left of your keyboard, between CTRL and ALT).
Use the arrow-keys to navigate through the menu.
When "Control Panel" is highlighted, press ENTER.
Use the TAB key and the arrow-keys to navigate through Control Panel, and then ENTER to "click" on the highlighted entry.

Or, plug-in an external USB mouse, and Windows will let you use that mouse to navigate.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Well i'm not there, so i can't actually fix it for you, but chances are, assuming nothing out of the ordinary happened to it (eg, dropping it) you may have accidentally locked the mousepad. You can fix this in the control panel. I forget exactly where though...

Check the mousepad settings in control panel. There are settings and programs that disable the mousepad when typing. A slight brush across the mousepad can send the cursor to odd places in your document.

There is also a small app that disables the mousepad when you type as well. Check your processe in task manager to see if there is such a program running in the background.

not difficult..with right tools and patience..the touchpad is part of the upper assembly, and requires that the bottom be removed. When I do this, it takes around an hour.
