Question about HP Office Equipment & Supplies

I have an HP J6450 all-in-one printer that appears to be hooked up but will not print anything!!!! Please help!!

Is it a USB printer or network? Follow instructions for each hook up you may have. Sounds like the printer is not installed properly. I would try reinstalling the printer. First delete it from the devices and printers and then do a reinstall.

Hi jjank740;

First off, did you try to recycle your printer? Turn it off and back on again. Sometimes power outages can disconnect that printer. If that doesn't work. Go to the printer and access the system network configuration on the led panel. Type in the WEP number and password again, and let it search for the connection. That should do it. Once it's connected you'll see the blue wireless indicator turn on.

If this is OEM ink and not Genuine INK then you got to play it by ear. WARNING refilled ink does damage the print head in this unit and can cause undisired effects. If you have been using refilled ink for a while then your damage is already in its begining stages. But the indicator on these cannot be reset to estimate the ink because it does nto have a chip resetter in it. Thanks

SOURCE: Hp printer displays offline

I resolved the problem by restarting the Print Spooler service.
Click Start/Run
Type services.msc and press enter
In the Services dialog scroll down to Print Spooler
Click to select it and Click Restart Service.
The system will stop and restart the service.
Close the dialog and check your printer again.
If this fails, leave te printer on and reboot the computer.

Hi there, please reset the printer from printer setting option,then restart it. If you didn't find any resetting option then , uninstall the printer from computer & restart the both (PC & Printer). after that again install the printer and use it. Your problem will solve then. Thanks.

I have a HP Officejet All-in- One. Fax won't go through


We have a Hewlett packard officejet t45 all-in-one. We recently bought a new computer that didn't have a LPT1 port, only usb ports. So we bought a usb cable and now it only prints. I then went on the Hewlett Packard website and did some searching and reading and found that our all-in-one printer requires a LPT1 port and cable to work properly. If that is the same with you, you can buy a LPT1 card with the port to install in your computer.

J6450 Prints multiple copies


After spending a lot of time on the net looking for an answer I decided to spend some time to see what was different betweent the computers. It turns out that the 2 computers that I was having the problem on had Zone Alarm installed and the 3rd computer that it was working on did not. So I dug around in Zone Alarm and marked every HP software item as allowed. I then rebooted the computer and submitted a test page to the printer. Low and behold 1 copy as I wanted. I proceeded to test it some more and now am only getting one copy when I ask for one. The problem appears to be that Zone Alarm was messing it up. I still have Zone Alarm running, I just needed to mark HP as an accepted program under every listing in Zone Alarm.
